Colour: the secret to creating a Sustainable Wardrobe

This book introduces the connection between compulsive fashion shopping and environmental degradation.

It then demonstrates how we can apply colour theory (based on art and design principles) to our wardrobes to make them more sustainable.

Recent launch
The book launched on 30 March 2021 as part of the NGV Melbourne Design Week program, and although it was not written specifically for the program, it neatly encapsulated this year’s theme: Design the World You Want.

Reviews from the NGV team.

“Normal is over. The tumult of 2020 continues to demonstrate how the issues of our time – climate, public health and social justice – are intertwined. Let’s look towards the world we might make together.”

Donna’s book responds to and addresses this and demonstrates that we can contribute artfully to contribute to positive change for the planet.
