FIPI Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your membership and use of the FIPI website (www.fipigroup.com) and related services. By using our website or services, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the FIPI Privacy Notice.

 

2. Membership Term and Benefits

2.1 Membership is granted on a fixed-term basis of one (1) year. Renewal options may be annual or monthly, depending on your chosen subscription.

2.2 Membership benefits include:

  • Access to the FIPI website and Members-only content
  • Participation in webinars, seminars, conferences, and other FIPI events
  • Permission to use the official FIPI logo, strictly in accordance with our branding guidelines

2.3 Renewal of membership is contingent upon payment of the applicable subscription fee and continued compliance with these Terms.

 

3. Fees and Payment

3.1 Membership fees are payable as indicated at registration. Fees may be subject to change with notice.

3.2 Payment must be made by the due date. Non-payment may result in suspension or termination of membership.

3.3 Refunds will only be issued in accordance with FIPI’s refund policy, except where required by law.

 

4. Termination / Suspension

4.1 FIPI may terminate or suspend membership for:

  • Non-payment of fees
  • Breach of these Terms
  • Misuse of FIPI branding or resources
  • Unlawful or inappropriate behaviour

4.2 Upon termination, members must immediately cease using the FIPI logo and remove all references from materials and websites.

 

5. Member Conduct

5.1 Members must act in a professional manner and comply with all laws and regulations.

5.2 Harassment, unlawful conduct, or damaging the reputation of FIPI or its members may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of membership.

 

6. Website Ownership and Content

6.1 The FIPI website is owned and controlled by The Federation of Image Consultants Limited.

6.2 We reserve the right to remove or amend any content deemed inappropriate, inaccurate, or unsuitable.

6.3 While we aim to provide accurate information, we do not guarantee that content is error-free. FIPI is not liable for any loss arising from website use, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

6.4 Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. FIPI is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

6.5 We make reasonable efforts to maintain website security and uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

 

7. Usernames and Passwords

7.1 Members create a username and password for access.

7.2 You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify FIPI immediately if your account or password is compromised.

 

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 FIPI retains all copyright and intellectual property rights in website content, including text, images, graphics, software, and branding.

8.2 You may download or print a single copy for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires FIPI’s prior written consent.

 

9. Use of Member Contributions

9.1 By submitting comments, testimonials, or other contributions, you grant FIPI a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use them for organisational purposes.

9.2 Contributions will be used respectfully and in compliance with the Privacy Notice and UK GDPR.

 

10. Data Protection and Privacy

10.1 Member data is processed in accordance with the FIPI Privacy Notice.

10.2 By becoming a member, you consent to the processing of personal data necessary for membership, event participation, communications, and marketing.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 FIPI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from:

  • Membership use
  • Events or services
  • Website content or links

11.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where prohibited by law.

 

12. Events and Services

12.1 Participation in events is subject to specific terms, including cancellation and refund policies.

12.2 Members are responsible for complying with event rules and regulations.

 

13. Changes to Terms

13.1 We may update these Terms from time to time.

13.2 Significant changes will be communicated via email or website notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

 

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
