The ethics and standards practiced by our members are central to FIPI’s work as a federation, and to us all individually as style and image professionals.
As our aspiration is to set the benchmark for excellence, FIPI has worked with our members to develop guidelines which are hugely beneficial to anyone working within the profession, including the Code of Professional Practice and Ethics which all our members subscribe to when they join.
FIPI also has close links with City & Guilds London and encourages our members to work towards achieving our FIPI Master’s Award. The Standards of Competence and Guidelines for Assessment for this award, The Federation of Image Professionals International and City and Guilds of London Institute Masters Award in Image Consultancy are also openly available for you to review.
If you are unable to obtain the guidance you require from the Code of Ethics or the supplementary documents above, please submit an enquiry to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Professional Indemnity Insurance for the image profession
**NOTE** FIPI is not able to provide legal advice or practical legal support to members who have, in the course of their work, received complaints from clients. We do, however, strongly recommend members to consider acquiring professional indemnity insurance.
